Not too sweet, and goes down well on the patio watching the sun going down on a 95 degree day. Try it again!
For the belgium style wheats, New Belgium and its creation "Sunshine" is a leader with a touch of orange peel mixed well with the barley. Smooth.

Unfiltered Wheat by Boulevard is the unquestioned leader of the Amercan style Wheats. I don't understand how you can honestly RATE a beer if you drank it past its EXPIRATION date.
Why not go to wolfgang puck's restaurant and try last week's steak? It's ridiculous.
Try it again fresh or don't bother rating beers. That's just silly. Really, you owe the brewmeisters a lot more than rating their product past the exp. date.

There’s a reason Boulevard doesn’t ship their unfiltered wheat.<br

I know that I stored it at room temp. and let it get to old. I am finding that wheats don't keep well. Since I had one left I tried it last night and figured out that what changed the most, it was the malt sweetness that I missed most. This beer deserves a retest. It is available everywhere in the K.C. area and is very popular but wouldn't be if it was as so-so as our test. Hooray for craft brewers.

I tried this at K.C. and it was fresh and a hell of a lot better, than the one I tested. It's 6:30 and still sun's still shining. This is a true unfiltered wheat and as soon as the three inch head subsides I'll squeeze a bit of lemon and enjoy.
Don't give up on Boulevard....try the Pale Ale or the Lunar Ale...pretty good.

Speaking of wheats….I just poured a Hacker-Pschorr in honor of the first true spring like day here in Chicagoland.
