Is it just me or does the “new” Anheuser-Busch/Inbev logo remind you of the Kingfisher brand? Are they next and by doing this logo now, they won’t have to change it again once Vijay Mallya loses his ass and fortune in Formula One?

Great commentary. And I guess if your a Bud fan this is kind of a bitter pill to swallow knowing that your beloved american beechwood aged product is now owned by a euro conglomorate. At least the boys in Brussels were thoughtful enought to put the AB name first.

John,
I think your name suggestion hits the nail on the head. I agree with your point on slapping names together and let it be. I would note that AB has been pretty aggressive recently in branding itself as American and Quality beer, Budweiser American Ale is what I’m talking about. InBev doesn’t want to waste the Image AB has created over the years.
All in all, I will stick to craft beer.
